Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Ballston Spa, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a 6,900-square-foot transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

As of June 12, 2023, project was awarded to Plank, LLC with $1,011,825.00 for General Construction and LaCorte Companies, Inc. with $182,300.00 for Electrical. Total awarded amount is $1,194,125.00. This project consists of the construction of a new 6,900 square-foot 6188590 to store the existing snow removal equipment at the Saratoga County Airport. The building will be located in the southeast corner of the airport, south of the existing southern T-Hangar and west of the existing glider clubs. A small area of trees will be cleared, and less than one acre will be grubbed to allow for the 3-bay SRE Storage Building. The building will have a natural gas and electric connection for heat and electricity but will not have a water or sewer connection. Also included in the project is the construction of a 10-foot wide gravel access drive and a 4,000 square-foot asphalt apron which will connect to the existing T-Hangar taxilane. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, a bid security in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of his bid, in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information to Bidders. Simultaneously with his executed contract, the successful bidder must deliver to the County of Saratoga an executed performance and completion bond in a form meeting the County's approval, in an amount not less than 100% of the accepted bid as security for the faithful performance and completion of this contract, and also a separate bond guaranteeing prompt payment of monies due to all persons supplying the contractors or subcontractors with labor and materials employed and used in carrying out the contract, and having as surety on the bonds such surety companies as are approved or acceptable to the County of Saratoga. Saratoga County, through its Purchasing Department, reserves the right to reject any or all bids. All work shall be subject to equal opportunity in employment, State wage rates and all other requirements in accordance with applicable law. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 10% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15%
