Renovation of a medical facility in Columbus, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Questions Due Date: Apr 5th 2023, 1:00 PM EDT Work shall include removing the existing Executive Conference Room above the Main Porch at 240 Parsons Avenue and replacing it with historically accurate bay windows at the 2nd and 3rd Levels. The Conference Room appears to be pulling away from the main building which is creating a gap and allowing water infiltration. The existing support under the Executive Conference Room is deteriorating and becoming a safety concern. An assessment of the existing Conference Room above the Porch was performed by OHM and their Report dated October 4, 2022 is attached to this RFP. The scope of work shall include design, engineering, Historic Resources Commission coordination, and construction contract administration services. SCOPE: The Architect/Engineer (hereinafter, "A/E") will be responsible for full service architectural and engineering services for the project, including but not limited to: programming, design, construction administration and observation, and close out. The A/E shall provide Special Inspections per OBC Chapter 17, if required. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
