Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of June 9 the project was awarded to Johnson Construction Inc for $1,702,615.50. The goal of this work is to replace water line, sewer lines, roadway asphalt, roadway base material, add sidewalk and add curb and gutter to the subdivision per the design documents in the RFP. All work is to be performed in accordance with the "State Department of Highways - Division of Highways - State of Colorado - Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction", latest edition and City of Glenwood Springs Design Standards. Additional Site Walk Note: A Site Walkthrough will be held at 101 West 8th St, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601, 1st Floor, Council Chambers. We will meet promptly at 8:00am at City Hall in Council Chambers for a quick overview and proceed to do a walkthrough of the project site. Because this is a mandatory meeting, we will not except late arrivals. Representative from your company must sign their name on the official sign-in sheet distributed at the walkthrough to be eligible to submit a proposal. This process is expected to be competitive with numerous vendors participating.
