Working plans call for the addition of a fitness / recreation center; for the demolition of a fitness / recreation center; for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center; and for site work for a fitness / recreation center.

The owner has selected a Construction Manager. Estimated budget : $1,000,000.00 for Phase I and $9,000,000.00 for Phase II. The project is being designed by CPL Architects, Engineers, Planners with a stated construction cost of $10,000,000.00 ($10M) for both Phase I and Phase II. Ineligible Source List During the period for which a person/firm has been debarred or suspended, or placed on the Gwinnett County ineligible source list, that person/firm shall not submit or cause to be submitted offers, quotes, bids, or proposals, etc. to Gwinnett County, even when automatically or electronically distributed a notification or notified of a solicitation request. Submittals from firms currently on the Gwinnett County ineligible source list will not be considered. All Construction Managers must submit with proposal a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base amount for preconstruction services. Failure to submit a bid bond with the proper rating will result in the proposal being deemed non-responsive. The successful supplier will be required to meet insurance requirements, submit a one hundred percent (100%) performance bond and a one hundred percent (100%) payment bond. Insurance and Bonding Company should be licensed to do business by the Georgia Secretary of State, authorized to do business in Georgia by The Georgia Insurance Department, listed in the Department of Treasury's Publication of Companies holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Surety on Federal Bonds and as acceptable reinsuring companies. The bid bond must have an A.M. Best rating of A-5. The payment bond, and performance bond must have an A.M. Best rating of A-10 for construction or higher.
