A BID Bond or a cashier'scheck in an amount not lessthan five percent (5%) of theamount of the bid, but in noevent more than $10,000,payable to the DECATURCITY SCHOOLS, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance Bond,Payment Bond, and evidenceof insurance required in thebid documents will be required at the signing of theContract. Bids must be submitted onproposal forms furnished bythe Engineer or copiesthereof. All bidders bidding inamounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for GeneralContractors must be licensedunder the provisions of Title34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and must showevidence of license beforebidding or bid will not be received or considered by theEngineer; the bidder shallshow such evidence byclearly displaying his or hercurrent license number onthe outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposalis delivered. CONTRACTOR must be licensed under specialty classification Municipal andUtility.
