Renovation of a municipal facility in Port Chester, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The Village of Port Chester ("Village") seeks to retain a qualified historic preservation architecture and engineering team to provide a comprehensive approach for design and construction services in the initial phase of restoration and rehabilitation of the Bush-Lyon Homestead. This Request for Proposals ("RFP") describes general information of the Village of Port Chester, the required scope of services, minimum qualifications, submission requirements and the selection process. All submissions must be submitted by electronic format (ex. CD or USB flash drive; e-mail is not an acceptable format or method of transference) in a sealed envelope clearly marked: "RFP #2023-06 "DESIGN AND ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR HISTORICAL RESTORATION AND REHABILITATION OF THE BUSH-LYON HOMESTEAD." Failure to comply with these requirements shall result in the proposal being deemed non-responsive. The Village Board of Trustees reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities at its discretion in a manner deemed to be in the best interests of the Village of Port Chester. Your cooperation in adhering to the procedures outlined above and contained within the specifications is greatly appreciated. Any questions or requests for clarification regarding this RFP must be made by mail or email received no later than five (5) business days prior to the submission deadline. All questions or requests for additional information must include a name, address and phone number. The Village shall not be responsible for any failure in the delivery of such inquiry.
