Renovation of an educational facility in Jacksonville, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of April 24,2023, project was awarded tO Alabama Roofing but awarded amount is not available.** Scope of Work: The Project includes the re-roofing of sloped shingle roof classroom buildings, new edge metal, metal coping, gutters and downspouts. The project also includes repair and replacement of any damaged plywood roof decking. The General Contractor shall provide a fully qualified superintendent that is a full time employee of the General Contractor on site at ALL times when Work on site is occurring. The General Contractor will be responsible for repairing or replacing any damage including floor or finish damage resulting from the Work in this project at their expense. The Alabama Division of Construction Management and the Owner will NOT accept ANY ponding conditions on the new roof. The new roof must have 100% positive drainage A cashier's check or Bid Bond payable to Calhoun County Board of Education, in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the proposal, but in no event more than $10,000 must accompany the bid. Performance and Statutory Labor and Material Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price will be required at the signing of the Contract.
