The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)located in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina is requesting quotes for a Water Purification System. The EPA intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase order. The Government intends to award a purchase order without further communication with vendors. Consequently, vendors are encouraged to submit their best pricing quote in their initial submission. However, the Government reserves the right to communicate with any or all vendors submitting a price quote, if it is determined advantageous to the Government to do so. This statement is not to be construed to mean that the Government is obligated to communicate with every quoter. A vendor may be eliminated from consideration without further communication if its technical and/or pricing quotes are not among those vendors considered most advantageous to the Government based on a best value determination.
