Project will require the furnishing and installation of carpet square flooring and removal, disposal, and abatement of existing floor tiles. Minimum rates of wages to be paid on the project have been determined by the Commissioner of the Division of Occupational Safety under the provisions of Sections 26 and 27, Chapter 149 of the General Laws and will be in- cluded in the bid package. Each general bid and sub-bid proposal must be secured by an uploaded photocopy of an accompanying deposit of 5% of the total bid amount, including all alternates, in the form of a bid bond, a certified treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company made payable to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Award- ed vendor will then mail the original 5% deposit bond or check to the Department of Mental Health, Office of En- gineering and Facilities Management, 167 Lyman Street, Room 158, Westborough, MA 01581. The Department re- serves the right to waive any informality in or reject any or all Bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
