Renovation of a military facility in Murphy, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 22,903-square-foot military facility.
**Per Addendum 1 the bid date has been extended from 05/03/23 to 05/17/23** The project includes the upfit of 6,993 sq. ft. in an existing 15,910 sq. ft. building. Bids will be received for single prime contract. All proposals shall be lump sum. All bidding contractors shall provide a bid bond. The County encourages participation by small, minority, disabled, and woman-owned businesses No access to Bidders will be allowed prior to Pre-Bid Meeting. After Pre-Bid Meeting access may be arranged only though Mr. Sam Davis. Access will be denied to any contractor who tries to enter facility without prior authorization by Mr. Sam Davis All contractors are hereby notified that they must have proper license as required under the state laws governing their respective trades. General contractors are notified that Chapter 87, Article 1, General Statutes of North Carolina, will be observed in receiving and awarding general contracts. Payment will be made based on ninety-five percent (95%) of monthly estimates and final payment made upon completion and acceptance of work.
