Question Deadline: 05/5/2023 12:00 PM Duration in months: 240 The Greater Vancouver Sewerage and Drainage District (the "Corporation") has issued this request for qualifications ("RFQ") to invite interested parties to submit statements of qualifications (each a "Response") with respect to the provision of services for the operation and maintenance of the Metro Vancouver Waste-to-Energy Facility. This RFQ is the first stage in what the Corporation anticipates will be a two stage competitive procurement leading to the award of a contract for the operation and maintenance of the Metro Vancouver Waste-to-Energy Facility. The Corporation has an existing contract with Covanta Burnaby Renewable Energy, ULC, which includes operation and maintenance of the Metro Vancouver Waste-to-Energy Facility and which expires on March 3, 2025. The new operations and maintenance contractor will be expected to continue to achieve an annual waste throughput in the order of 240,000 tonnes whilst generating heat and power on a 24/7 basis to meet contractual commitments.
