Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Norfolk, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a power facility; and for paving for a power facility.

The Project contemplated consists of, but is not limited to, the installation of two (2) electrical sub-stations, (2) sub-station transformers, reinforced concrete foundations, canopies, underground ductbank to existing manholes, new manholes, electrical and communications services from new sub-stations to existing crane cable pits, earthwork, pavement repair as required within the project limits. The Project contemplated consists of, but is not limited to, the installation of two (2) electrical sub-stations, (2) sub-station transformers, reinforced concrete foundations, canopies, underground ductbank to existing manholes, new manholes, electrical and communications services from new sub-stations to existing crane cable pits, earthwork, pavement repair as required within the project limits. The Work will be substantially complete within 578 calendar days from the date when the Contract Times commence to run. The Work will be completed in all respects within 608 calendar days from the date when the Contract Times commence to run. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional Bond(s) for the faithful performance of the Work, as prescribed in the Bidding Documents. In order to perform public work, the Successful Bidder and subcontractors shall hold or obtain such licenses as required by Commonwealth Statutes, and federal and local Laws and Regulations. Each Bidder shall be required to comply with Executive Order No. 112461, BEC 202, dated September 24, 1965, and shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, creed, or national origin. Each Bidder shall be required to comply with attached Notice of Requirements for Affirmative Action to Ensure Equal Employment Opportunity (Executive Order 11246 and 41 CFR Part 60-4). Bidders are required under Title 54, Chapter 7, Code of Virginia, to show evidence of certificate of registration before Bid may be received and consideration on a general contract or subcontract of $40,000 or more, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
