Renovation of a transportation facility in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The Contract includes: Hangar 15 Renovations The drawings, specifications and other contract documents are on file and open to the public for inspection during normal business hours at the office of the OWNER, Johnstown-Cambria County Airport Authority, 479 Airport Road, Suite 1 Johnstown, PA 15904. The prospective Bidder is encouraged to contact Cory Cree for review of documents at 814-536-0002 ext. 2 for information on where the documents are located within their office and any special procedures for accessing the documents. Bids shall be prepared and submitted on the prescribed forms in accordance with instructions contained in the Instructions to Bidders and General Provisions (Section 20) Divisions of the Project Manual. The Johnstown-Cambria County Airport Authority expressly reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the same. Each bidder must deposit with his/her proposal a bid security in an amount equal to at least 10% of the Base Bid of his/her Base Bid. Said security shall be in the form and subject to the conditions given in Section 20 of the General Provisions. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Successful bidders, must enter into the Agreement and furnish a Contract Bond and evidence of required insurance with fifteen (15) days after notification acceptance of such proposals, all as more specifically required in the Contract Documents. Wages as predetermined by the Secretary of Labor and Industry of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and included in the specifications and contract documents and/or addenda thereto shall be used by the CONTRACTOR in paying labor in connection with the work under this contract. All work under this contract shall be subject to the regulations contained in Division 8 of the Project Manual. i. Aircraft Hangar 15A: 1. Reinsulate interior walls and ceiling of the existing Hangar 15A metal building. 2. Interior and exterior painting of Hangar 15A. 3. New liner panels at existing hangar walls and new hangar door. 4. Install, new accessible restroom fixtures in hangar restrooms of Hangar 15A. 5. Hangar door installation including new foundations, collateral steel, and apron addition required for new hydraulic hangar door that is on site. 6. A new hangar trench drain including an oil-water separator and sewer lateral will be included in hangar 15A ii. Office Building 15B: 1. Complete plaster repair at interior walls of Office Building 15B. 2. Interior and exterior painting of Office Building 15B. 3. Install new, roller window shades on Office Building 15B. 4. Install, new accessible restroom fixtures in upper floor restrooms of Office building 15B. 5. New flooring including carpet tile, LVT, and rubber base. 6. Ceramic tiling of floors and walls of kitchen and restroom areas. 7. Owner will provide furniture with layout assistance from the architect.
