Renovation of a water / sewer project in Town of Union, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid Bond (on the form included in the Bidding Documents) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of paragraphs 5.01 and 5.02 of the General Conditions. No Bidder may withdraw its Bid within 45 days after the date of the Bid opening. The successful Bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond with a surety company satisfactory to the Town of Union and conforming to the prerequisite requirements of Article 5 of the General Conditions on the forms included in the Bidding Documents. All other questions shall be submitted in writing to Ben Watkins at ben.watkins@ghd.com. The Owner reserves the right to revise or amend the contract bidding documents prior to the date set for opening bids. Such revisions and amendments, if any, will be issued by addenda. Any inquiries regarding questions on contract documents must be submitted in writing per the Bid Clarification Form contained in the Contract Documents. The Town of Union reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all Bids.
