Project Description: The proposed Hollywood Rd. Extension Bridge project will consist of the construction of a new concrete bridge across Bayou Black in Houma, Louisiana, connecting the Hollywood Rd. Extension and Bayou Black Dr. (LA 182). The proposed bridge project will consist of the following main features: o (4) 21-foot Cast-In-Place Concrete Slab-Spans o 5 Cast-In-Place Concrete Bents o 2 Cast-in-Place Concrete Approach Slabs o (35) 18" Square Prestressed Precast Concrete Piles o 3 Lanes of Traffic with a 50-foot Bridge Clear Width o Traffic Signal Devices at both Bridge Intersections o Road Stripping and Signage o 254 Linear Feet of Steel Sheet Pile Wingwall for Bank Stabilization o (6) Solar Powered Bridge Lights The deadline to submit questions has been extended to Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Any contract(s) awarded under this invitation for Bids are expected to be funded in part by a grant from the U.S. Department of Treasury, RESTORE Act Direct Component.
