Site work for a water / sewer project in Austell, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. No proposal will be considered unless it is accompanied by satisfactory evidence that the Bidder holds either a Georgia State Contractor's License, Georgia State Utility Contractor's License, or qualifications with the Georgia Department of Transportation for similar work, in compliance with Act. O.C.G.A. 43-14 and 43-41. Failure to provide the bidder's license or qualification number on the outside of the sealed proposal will result in rejection of the bid. If the Contract is to be awarded, Owner will award the Contract on the basis of the base bid plus selected alternatives. All required federal, state, and local permits as well as required easements or rights of way for the project have not been obtained. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Project includes the following Work: The Project generally consists of constructing approximately 995 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water main, service change overs, and other water appurtenances including 3 fire hydrants. The new facilities will replace existing facilities. The Project will also include resurfacing of the existing streets and replacement of subgrade.
