Site work and paving for a water / sewer project in Seward, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for paving for a water / sewer project.
If you have any questions, contact Michael Oneby, P.E. at 402-643-4000 extension number 203. To bid the project, the contract documents must be issued directly by A&D Technical Supply. The project consists of: Replacing the existing storm sewer system, including 1,275 feet of storm sewer trunk line, 6 curb inlets, and replacing portions of existing pavement. Paving will consist of replacing existing pavement, driveways, and sidewalks, where needed, to construct new storm sewer system. Proposals will be taken for said construction work described above by unit prices, as an aggregate bid for the entire project. All proposals for said construction work must be made on blanks furnished by the Engineer and must be accompanied by Bid Security of not less than 5% of the amount bid. Bid Security to be made payable to the City of Seward as liquidated damages in case the bid is accepted and the bidder neglects or refuses, to enter into contract and furnish bond in accordance herewith. No bidder may withdraw the submitted proposal for a period of forty-five (45) days after the date set for the opening of bids. The City of Seward reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive informalities.
