Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in San Francisco, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a office development; for site work for a office development; residential development; residential development; and water / sewer project.

As of December 14, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Purpose of this Tiny Cabins project is to build a Temporary Homeless Shelter Community to provide 60 individual private rooms to house the homeless population. The scope of work involves procuring and installing prefabricated modular housing units on site each with two private rooms. In addition to the 60 rooms, there are also four offices and a small community room in prefabricated structures along with two restroom/shower trailers that will be installed on site. The modular structures and trailers will require power, water, and sewer connections to existing utilities in adjacent buildings. The project is located at 1979 Mission Street in the vacant parking lot of a city owned property fronting Capp Street. Structures built on the site will be temporary because the site is slated for a future affordable housing development. CONTRACT DURATION: 180 consecutive calendar days from NTP to Substantial Completion. Requirements 1) Class "A" license required to bid. 2) Pursuant to San Francisco Administrative Code ("Administrative Code") Section 6.25 and Chapter 25 of the Environment Code, "Clean Construction" is required for the performance of all work. 3) Bid discounts do not apply to this bid. 4) No subcontracting goal required. 5) For information on the City's Contractor Development Program, call (415) 986-3999 or email mailto:cdp@imwis.com *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
