Technicians must be certified by R.E.T.A (Refrigerating Engineers and Technicians Association) as industrial refrigeration operators. Contractor must be able to provide 24 hour, 7 days per week, on-call service within 2 hours of call, in case of emergencies. Walk- through inspection of chiller room and condenser to ensure proper operation Check belts and tighten, if needed. Check and date mark brine/glycol reservoir levels Check ammonia level Pull brine/glycol samples and test for proper levels of corrosion inhibitors Inspect condenser nozzles and mist eliminators Document all service and recommendations in writing Metro reserves the right to issue additional rounds as it deems necessary for the purposes of evaluation. Additional rounds may include, but not be limited to, Offeror interviews. Metro reserves the right to make multiple awards for a contract if it is deemed in the best interest of Metro.
