General Contractors Bidding will be placed on Official Bidders List and may obtain digital copies of drawings and specifications from the Architect upon receipt of Application for Bid. Release of contract documents to the bidder does not imply acceptance of the bidder's qualifications by the Owner or Architect. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the Architect or copies thereof, issued either with the original contract documents or by addendum. All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under the provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975. The Bidder must display current General Contractor's License Number on the outside of the seated envelope in which the proposal is delivered, or it will not be considered by the Architect or Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgment, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
