Site work and paving for a civil project in Valley Falls, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The first portion of the project consists of the installation of approximately 2,571 linear feet of 12-inch DIP waterline, along with related fittings and other appurtenances. The installation of 454 linear feet of 24-inch steel casing under I-85 in the interchange with Highway 86 utilizing jack and bore methodology. The second portion of the project consists of the installation of approximately 4,311 linear feet of 8-inch DIP waterline and appurtenances. All questions must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, April 13, 2023 via email to Richard Culler at cullerre@cdmsmith.com. 1. Installation of approximately 2,571 linear feet of 12-inch DIP waterline, along with related fittings, hydrants, system connections, asphalt repairs, erosion control, grassing, restoration, and other appurtenances from the existing stub-out on the south side of Hwy 86 to the northside of Hwy 86 and end at the existing stub-out at Exchange Logistics Park. Includes the installation of 24-inch steel casing under I-85 in the interchange with Highway 86 utilizing jack and bore methodology. 2. Installation of approximately 4,311 linear feet of 8-inch DIP waterline, along with related fittings, hydrants, system connections, asphalt repairs, erosion control, grassing, restoration, and other appurtenances from the existing stub-out on the west side of Country Manor Road to the existing stub-out on Elrod Road. 3. Other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. 4. 12-inch DIP and 8-inch DIP pipe and gaskets supplied by Powdersville Water. Contractor to install 12-inch DIP and 8- DIP pipe and gaskets and coordinate with pipe manufacturer. Contractor to provide and install associated fittings
