Site Directions: The project is located at 2951 Isabella Street in Headington Park. The project is located at 2951 Isabella Street and includes new construction of a splash pad and general site work, earthwork, sodding, sidewalk construction, concrete slabs, precast building installation and foundation as further described in the construction documents. The splash pad features will be provided by the City of Sioux City. Each bid must be made on a form furnished by the City and must be accompanied by a bid bond, a cashier's check or certified check of an Iowa bank or a bank chartered under the laws of the United States, or a certified share draft drawn on a credit union in Iowa or chartered under the laws of the United States, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, made payable to the City Treasurer of the City of Sioux City, Iowa. The check or draft may be cashed by the City Treasurer as liquidated damages in the event the successful bidder fails to enter intoa contract within the ten (10) days after notice of award and post bond satisfactory to the City ensuring the faithful fulfillment of the contract. The Notice of Public Hearing will be published in the Sioux City Journal on July 15, 2023, and July 22, 2023. The work on this project shall begin upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed and be fully completed by May 31, 2024. A public hearing will be held before the Sioux City City Council in the Council Chambers, Room 504, City Hall, 405 Sixth Street, Sioux City, Iowa, on July 24, 2023 c commencing at 4:00 P.M., All questions about the meaning or intent of the bidding documents shall be submitted to the Engineer in writing.
