As of May 24, 2023, the project has not been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded in June, 2023. The Town of Leesburg, Virginia is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors to rehabilitate and upgrade the Old Waterford Knolls and Potomac Crossing Sewer Pump Stations. The contractor shall provide a complete mechanical and electrical rehabilitation, in accordance with contract documents, plans and specifications, as necessary to provide a complete operating facility. Additional work includes bypass pumping, all other work to complete the rehabilitation of the infrastructure, and all incidentals. The bonds shall be corporate surety bonds issued by a surety company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Virginia and acceptable to the Town. Accordingly, the Town reserves the right to reject multiple bids submitted by the same firm in eVA.
