Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hermitage, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: Installation of approximately 5,509 lineal feet of 15" diameter HDPE storm sewer; 73 PVC stormwater catch basins; milling of approximately 7,736 SY of roadway; 1,119 tons of binder course asphalt and 7,736 SY of wearing course asphalt; asphalt, concrete and gravel driveway adjustments; site restoration and other minor improvements or restoration items. The Project has an expected duration of 60 days. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: IAG Consulting, LLC 3580 Innovation Way Suite 108 Hermitage, PA 16148 (724) 977-1775 igarfoli@iagconsultinginc.com The bid specifications, drawings, plan holders list, addenda, and other bid information shall be available for viewing at the City of Hermitage Municipal Building during normal business working hours. Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the total bid. A 100% Performance and Payment Bond is required for this work. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date unless award is delayed by a required approval of another government agency, the sale of bonds, or award of the grant or grants, in which case this Bid shall remain subject to acceptance for 120 days after the bid opening date provided the Act of November 26, 1978 (P.L. 1309, No. 317), as amened by the Act of December 12, 1994 (P.L. 1042, No. 142). Bids received after the stated time will be returned unopened. The City reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the City, and to reject any or all proposals. Contract Documents contain requirements addressing prevailing labor wage rates, labor standards, and Steel Product Procurement Act and related matters. Specific project locations are as follows: 1. South Crescent Drive - From East State Street to King Drive. 2. Greenwood Drive - From East State Street to Fern Street. 3. Fern Street - From South Crescent Drive to Greenwood Drive. 4. Trace Street - From Greenwood Drive to end. B. Project Purpose: To provide improved roadside drainage and repaving all project area roadways as shown in the Contract Documents.
