Renovation of a water / sewer project in Timmins, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Structural, concrete tank repairs, replacing all of the hand/guardrails for the primary clarifiers, providing additional grating walkways, replacing the existing clarifier mechanism with a new stainless-steel chain and flight system, installation one new isolation gates and various process piping and electrical/controls upgrades. The project consists of removing the completing structural concrete repairs to the exterior walls of the primary clarifier, repairing the expansion joints of the existing structure, and installed new hand/guardrails and walkways around the existing clarifier. The process upgrades involve replacement of the existing chain and flight clarifier mechanism with a new stainless-steel chain and flight system, replacement of the groundwater control valves, installation of one new channel gate and modifications to two existing gates as well as the electrical and controls associated with all elements.
