Renovation of a water / sewer project in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Furnish all material, labor, and equipment to replace the discharge lines that will go through the top slab of the pump station at PS090 located at 1998 Bushy Park Rd, Goose Creek, SC 29445. Bids over $100,000.00 shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashiers check in an amount equal to 5% of the bid. SUMMARY: Furnish all material, labor, and equipment to replace the discharge lines that will go through the top slab of the pump station at Pump Station 090 located at 1998 Bushy Park Road, Goose Creek, SC 29445. The work is to include the following: 1. BYPASS PUMPS a. Berkeley County will perform and maintain all bypass work for the pump station. 2. DEMOLITION a. Berkeley County will remove existing pumps and re-install at the end of the project. b. Berkeley County will provide a vacuum truck and clean the wet well. c. Remove existing wet well discharge piping. d. Including base elbows. e. Existing header to stay. f. Dispose of old piping. 3. WET WELL PIPING a. Verify sizing and measurements for all piping and accessories. b. Supply and install new ductile iron wet well piping. c. Including new base elbows. d. Including new 45-degree flange offsets at discharge elbows. e. Core holes (3) in wet well top for piping penetrations f. Install new link seal at top penetrations. g. Abandon (Grout & epoxy coat) old piping penetrations through wall and through slab on grade concrete.
