The proposed contract requires the provision of approximately 60,000 cubic metres of multiphase block assessment and layout services for timber sale licence development located across Jacklah River operating areas in the Strait of Georgia Business Area. The contract will require a range of qualified professionals and technical staff working in various conditions including isolated areas. Forest development activities will include, but are not limited to, total resource plans, block planning, block/road layout, timber cruising, site plans, assessments (blocks, roads, bridges, terrain, windthrow, stream, wildlife, visuals, etc.) and timber sale package preparations including, but not limited to, LRM data entry and ECommerce Appraisal System (ECAS) data submissions. All fieldwork must be completed by November 3, 2023. Final Site Plan by must be submitted by January 12, 2024 and all successfully final works must be completed by February 16, 2024. Failure to complete these milestones within these timeframes will result in the successful contractor having assessments imposed as itemized in, Schedule A - General Conditions. The financial assessments imposed for overdue works will be subtracted from each subsequent invoice prior to payment(s).
