OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE The City of Tacoma (City), Department of Environmental Services is soliciting bids to establish one or more contracts with qualified vendors to fulfill the City's needs for dissolved air flotation thickeners (DAFT) Polymer on an as-needed basis for up to five years. The preference is to award a single contract. However, the City reserves the right to split the award, reduce the award, or make no award, if it is in the City's best interest. This product is used by the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 2201 Portland Avenue, Tacoma, WA 98421-2711. The estimated annual usage is 34,000 lbs.
