DHCD provides a variety of resources to create and preserve quality affordable multifamily housing in Maryland, including bond-financed interest loans, flexible repayment loans, and federal tax credits to third parties for rehabilitation or new construction of affordable multifamily rental housing developments for families and seniors. DHCD typically creates or preserves between 2,500 and 5,000 rental homes annually; on average, individual projects comprise 100 units. The Multifamily Housing Development Programs unit of the Community Development Administration (CDA), a division of DHCD, is seeking Contractors to provide, on an as-needed basis, design and construction review and administrative services for Third-Party Multifamily Rental Housing Projects ("Projects") funded by DHCD. The construction management services will include design and construction document review, construction cost review and field monitoring during construction for Projects. Project Cost Class E - $2,500,000 to $5,000,000 MBE Participation (%)30.0 The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
