The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, University of Massachusetts Lowell will receive sealed proposals: Title: Paving of MLK Jr. Way. Scope- Pulverizing and Paving of approx. 28,000 square feet of roadway and driveway. Each general bid proposal must be secured by an accompanying deposit of 5% of total bid amount in the form of a bid bond or certified or treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company payable to the University of Massachusetts Lowell. This project is being electronically bid hard copy bids will not be accepted All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of either or both Mass. G.L., Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended and Mass. G.L., Chapter 149, Section 44A - 44J inclusive. Attention is directed to the minimum wage rates to be paid on the work as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries under the provisions of Mass. G.L., Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D inclusive. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any and all bids if it were in the public interest to do so.
