Colleton County, South Carolina (the "County") is seeking qualified, licensed firms experienced in providing architectural design services necessary to prepare architectural plans for project development in Colleton County. Colleton County requires all firms to be versed in the design of Governmental facilities and complexes, such as Fire Stations, Spec Buildings, and General Government office buildings. The goal of this RFQ is to select up to Seven (7) firms to perform design services for Colleton County. All plans will be prepared per Colleton County, the City of Walterboro, and South Carolina building codes, specifications, and requirements. Questions regarding this proposal must be submitted via email to John Stieglitz, Capital Projects Director, at jstieglitz@colletoncounty.org no later than 11:00am on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Answers to all questions will be posted on the County website as addendums to this proposal. This is a qualifications-based selection. The award will be given to the most responsible, responsive, and highly qualified firms ranked by the selection committee. Procedures for this procurement are identified in Section I, INSTRUCTIONS TO FIRMS. Cost is NOT a factor in the ranking of Firms to provide services herein. Therefore, do notreference the Firm's cost in the RFQ response. Any RFQ response with any discussion of the cost will be disqualified. Firms are advised that this evaluation and selection process is a competition, not a prequalification. Colleton County will be issuing an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC). The contract term will be for thirty-six (36) months from the date the contract is signed with the option for renewal for one (1) additional thirty-six (36) month period.
