Renovation of a municipal facility in Ewing, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This section covers the furnishing of all labor, materials, facilities, equipment, services, permits and agreements necessary to perform the work required for asbestos abatement in accordance with these Technical Specifications, United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and OSHA regulations, NIOSH recommendations, State of New Jersey regulations and other applicable Federal, State and Local government regulations. Wherever there is a conflict or overlap of the above references the most stringent provisions shall apply. It shall be the Contractors responsibility to verify exact quantities and locations of all asbestos-containing materials. The quantities shown are for informational purposes only. It is USA Environmental Management, Inc.s understanding that the Contractor has verified the materials and quantities to be removed under this scope of work and has priced the work accordingly. NJDOT Thiokol Complex, 930 Lower Ferry Road- Ewing, Mercer County, NJ All bidders are urged to limit the number of representatives to attend the pre-bid meeting in order to keep the number of attendees to a minimum in order to comply with covid-19 related social distancing guidelines. All attendees must wear face mask coverings. In accordance with n.J.S.A. 52:32-2, this project shall be bid as a single bid (lump sum all trades). Bidder must be classified themselves or name their classified subcontractor(s) for the following trade(s): Plumbing (C030) HVACR (C032) Electrical (C047) Failure To List Classified Sub-Contractors Will Deem The Bid Non-Responsive. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 17:13, this project has been designated as a Small Business Set-Aside Opportunity. Note: This contract includes a goal of awarding 25 percent of the total contract value to either a prime or subcontract level. The firm determined to be the lowest responsible bidder must produce copies of approval notice from the Division of Revenue and Enterprises Services designating the prime or subcontracting firm as a Small Business Enterprise prior to the award of contract. Bidders must be classified by the Division under N.J.S.A. 52:35-1 et seq and must submit bid security as provided in Instructions to Bidders and General Conditions, Revised December 2015. No bidder may withdraw his bid for 60 calendar days after the opening. The State may reject any and all bids.
