Renovation of a municipal facility in Jacksboro, Texas. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The City of Jacksboro, hereafter referred to as the City, is accepting bids for repairs and maintenance on the Jacksboro Chamber of Commerce/ Jacksboro Economic Development Corporation building, located at 302 S. Main St., Jacksboro, Texas. Repairs and maintenance to the building will include: Replacing deteriorating wood on the exterior eaves of the building. Painting the exterior trim. Repairing the outside faucet. Repairing and replacing Spanish tile shingles* *Any responses to bids regarding the Spanish tile shingles must include any prior work done with Spanish tile shingles and references from those projects. Questions pertaining to this Request for Bids are to be submitted in writing to the attention of Michael Smith, City Manager, at the above address, by email to msmith@cityofjacksboro.com, or by facsimile (940) 5672590. All questions are to be received in sufficient time to provide responses to all bidders prior to the bid opening date. To facilitate this, all questions must be received by 04/12/2023. The City of Jacksboro reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to waive any informality in any bid, and to accept the bid which, in its discretion, is in the best interest of the City of Jacksboro.
