The Metropolitan Transportation Authority, acting by and through MTA Construction and Development Company ("MTA C&D"), seeks to engage one or more experienced General Engineering Consultants to develop, design and support the procurement of contracts for Design-Build projects for MTA C&D's NYC Transit and Staten Island Railway Stations Business Unit that are scheduled for award in 2024. Each Project has been bundled with other Projects into groups for contract packaging purposes. Each Project is categorized as one of the following types of work: (a) Station Renewal; (b) ADA Accessibility; (c) Components; and (d) Escalator Replacements. The Technical Scope of Services encompasses the following four (4) Tasks: Scope Selection, Project Definition, Contract Bridging Documents and Procurement Support. The program will include at a minimum, the following practices areas: site planning and design, civil and utilities design, structural and geotechnical design, mechanical, electrical and plumbing design, communications, fire and life safety, passenger information systems, other systems, and systems integration, rail operations and designing for construction in active rail environments, constructability, phasing, and contract packaging, cost estimating and scheduling; and public and stakeholder outreach and engagement. The services of the Consultant shall be performed under the general direction of the designated MTA Representative.
