Renovation of a mixed-use development in Cavalier AFS, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.

The Project includes a Base Bid and several small Alternate Bids for construction that includes but is not limited to the following Work: Pool and pool related construction: o Renovate and repair concrete decking in pool areas. o Clean and modify existing gutter system and update nozzles and grating over gutter troughs. o Replace two main suction drain fittings and their sump boxes in diving well of pool. o Purchase and install new pool filtration system, remove and replace existing chemical system, purchase and install automatic water level controller. o Install ADA compliant deck equipment. o Update dive stand and signage. o Furnish and install sun shades, remove and replace the pool cover, pool climbing wall play feature and other related equipment. o Remove and replace the wading pool in its entirety to meet ADA standards and provide recreational amenities. o Remove and replace the gas-fired pool heater. Related Construction: o Selectively demolish and rebuild structural CMU walls of the pool equipment room, including shoring and temporary support of remaining portions of the wall. o Selectively demolish and replace electrical conduit and conductors. o Replace main electrical panel. o Renovate the existing men's and women's changing rooms, including adding structural beams to support the existing wood trusses, miscellaneous masonry construction, and plumbing. o Replace hollow metal doors and doors frames and door hardware. o Replace coiling windows. o Modify and replace exterior fencing, new pool decking around the wading pool, and ancillary work to restore aggregate surface parking lots and concrete sidwalks. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Single Prime Contract Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $1,600,000. The Project has an expected duration of 120 days Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
