Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The work under the Contract consists of: 1. Obtain all permits and approvals. 2. Provide a complete code compliant addressable fire alarm upgrade at two (2) dwelling unit buildings, including: (a) Replacement site-wide FACP at the maintenance building, (b) Replacement network nodes and booster power supplies at each dwelling unit building, (c) Network interconnection between the fire alarm control panel, network nodes and remote annunciators in the buildings via existing underground fiber optic cable network, in existing underground conduits, (d) New wiring for new devices within the buildings, concealed, or within new surface metal raceway (SMR), (e) Replacement peripheral devices (heat and smoke detectors with wire cages, manual pull stations, horns, strobes and horn strobes, beacons, monitor and control modules, etc.), (f) Existing conventional FACP, cellular dialer and peripheral devices, serving maintenance building, are existing to remain, (g) Cutting and patching of surfaces as required for installation of the work, including lawful abatement and disposal of asbestos-containing building materials (floor tiles) and waste, 3. Upon acceptance of the proposed work, demolition of all existing fire alarm equipment, devices, raceways, conductors, supports, etc. as noted or shown on the plans. 4. Patching or plating of all openings where devices are removed or surfaces otherwise impacted, such as by removal or SMR, outlet boxes, devices, etc. 5. Alternate No. 1: Replace the maintenance building fire alarm system (FACP, cellular dialer, peripheral devices and wiring) with new addressable initiating devices and notification appliances with associated SLC and NAC wiring tied into new networked site-wide FACP in maintenance building.
