The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT or DOT), through its Purchasing Unit (Purchasing), requests bids to establish a contract for the purchase of services to repair, remove, procure, or install overhead sign and signal structures and their components due to deterioration or damage at various locations throughout the North Central, Northeast, Northwest, Southeast and Southwest regions. Submit questions in writing via email to: Hazel Cybart-Fuson Schuster, e-mail: hazel.cybartfusonschuster@dot.wi.gov The overhead sign and signal structure repair and replacement work under this contract, located in the various Regions (listed below) of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, shall be in accordance with the requirements of the State of Wisconsin, Department of Transportation, current Standard Specifications, Bridge Manual Standard Details, Sign Plate Manual, Facilities Development Manual Standard Detail Drawings, and these special provisions. The initial term of this contract shall be date of award through one year after date of award, with four (4) one-year renewal options, by mutual consent. Any extension beyond the renewal options must be authorized by mutual agreement of the Contractor and WisDOT.
