The Town of Deerfield is seeking sealed bids for mowing and trimming within the Town of Deerfield. Mowing and trimming shall include: . George B White Building (GBW) - mowing & trimming . Town Hall - mowing & trimming; trimming the hedges (as needed) . Philbrick James Library - mowing & trimming . Philbrick James Library - trimming the hedges (as needed) . Monument Hill (across from GBW) - mowing & trimming . South Fire Station - mowing & trimming . Gazebo Area - mowing & trimming . Veasey Park - mowing & trimming All government buildings and open areas are to be mowed weekly, more frequently during wet seasons, less frequently during heavy drought. Frequency will be directed by the Facility Supervisor. The Library hedge trimming shall be done as needed. Any changes in mowing, trimming or other contracted care to government grounds and buildings will be addressed by the Facility Supervisor. Maps and directions to all contracted areas will be handed out at the meeting. Bids will only be accepted from bidders who attend the mandatory bidder's meeting. The expectation is that mowing will begin at the start of the growing season and end when the growing season is finished. Any changes to mowing schedule will need to be authorized by the Facility Supervisor prior to the requested change taking place. The Town of Deerfield reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
