Site work and paving for a road / highway in Carlin, Nevada. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of May 24, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. This project will consist of a full depth reclamation (FDR) which includes pulverizing the existing pavement, cement stabilize and pave 2nd Street within the Carlin City limits. The project limit is 2nd Street between Chestnut Street and Bush Street. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked, indicating the subject item of bid enclosed. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier's check or bid bond for five (5%) percent of the total amount of the bid. A bidder shall possess a valid contractor's license pursuant to Nevada Revised Statutes, Chapter 624, at the time of submitting a bid. The acceptance of any bid by the Carlin City Council, hereinafter known as the OWNER, shall be contingent upon the bidding party submitting a performance and payment bond prior to signing a contract. The successful bidder will be required to comply with N.R.S. Chapter 338 Public Works Projects. The right is reserved by the Board of Carlin City Council to reject any and all bids or to accept such bid as deemed best by said Board, and to waive any technicality in the bid form of the bid.
