Renovation of a water / sewer project in Cuney, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project generally consists of rehabilitation of the City of Cuney Packaged Wastewater Treatment Plant. Specific items of work include replacement/rehabilitation of blowers, clarifier equipment and motor replacement, aeration piping replacement, and diffuser replacement. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000]. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Cuney or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Contractor shall complete the WORK within two hundred (200) consecutive calendar days thereafter. The City of Cuney reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding
