The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: site work, renovation and addition to a 53,774 square foot educational facility. As of April 24, 2023, a general contractor has not yet been selected for this project. The school board has approved the budget for the project. The bid results for this project have not yet been released. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. The Middle School Renovations will consist of the following: Renovate Administration Offices, Secure Vestibule Addition, New Exterior Canopy, Library Updates, and Drainage Improvements. Work will include scopes of: earthwork, selective demolition, storm drainage, concrete paving, sidewalks, landscaping, concrete, masonry veneer, CMU block, structural steel, metal fabrications, rough carpentry, millwork, waterproofing, water repellent coatings, insulation, membrane roofing, flashing and sheet metal, fire stopping, site and building joint sealers and covers, hollow metal doors and frames, wood doors, aluminum storefront system, hardware, glazing, acoustical ceiling, drywall systems, rubber base, carpeting, resilient flooring and accessories, painting, markerboards, corner guards, signage, fire extinguishers, walkway canopies, roller shades, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire alarm, intercom system, data and communication, security and access control, and termite control.
