Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Working plans call for the addition of a 13,000-square-foot municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a 2,500-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

Shortlist Confirmed. Phase One: 1. A new 13,000 square ft. addition with small and large conference rooms, kitchen, cafeteria area and associated support spaces. The new addition shall be constructed of load bearing masonry walls with a steel structure and thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) roof. The site work shall include paved driveways, parking, and associated site grading. All plumbing, mechanical, electrical and fire alarm infrastructure shall be included in the scope of work. 2. Renovations to the former City of Jacksonville Fire Station building. This work shall include new floor finishes and wall paint in the base bid. The bid alternate shall include additional foundation and structural support systems to meet the current NCSBC wind speed requirements, and new large open bay doors. Phase Two: 3. Approximately 2500 sq. ft. of interior renovations to the existing Emergency Operations Center building which include new offices, kitchen and expanding the existing support spaces. This shall be constructed of new metal stud/ gypsum board walls, doors, ceilings, light fixtures, and floor finishes in all the renovated areas only. This work shall also include some alteration of the existing plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems.
