Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bowie, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Bowie, Maryland requests bids for the reconstruction of an approximately 1,100 linear foot long asphalt trail between Enfield Chase Park and Evergreen Parkway in Bowie, MD. The work consists of the following but is not limited to: Reconstructing approximately 1,100 linear feet of a 7.5 to 8.0-foot-wide bituminous multimodal trail. The Trail section shall be constructed with 4 inches of CR-6 with 3 inches of Hot Mix Asphalt (9.5 mm Superpave) per MSHA Standards. The Project is adjacent to the southeastern right of way of Northview Drive between the Enfield Chase Park (3731 Northview Drive) and Evergreen Parkway. All questions or requests for clarification regarding this Invitation for Bids shall be submitted by email to Carissa Sullivan at csullivan@cityofbowie.org. Deadline for inquiries is 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 3, 2023. Written responses to all questions and/or requests for clarification will be issued no later than Wednesday, April 5, 2023 to all those who request the IFB. The City encourages certified disadvantaged business entities to submit a bid.
