The Contractor is to provide all supervision, equipment, labor and materials necessary to complete the work as described herein and within the Construction Documents and Project Description. Provide all labor, superintendence, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, incidentals, and other ancillary items necessary, as identified in these Contract Documents, in order to complete the Oxford Mews drainage culvert project in accordance with all specification, terms, conditions, and drawings herein. All excavated dirt/material shall be removed in its entirety from the City of Poquoson Right of Way. An inspection of the work will be completed, to ensure that the work is to the standard of this contract. Period of Contract: 90 days Substantial Completion; 30 days to Final Completion. The Oxford Mews Drainage Improvements work consists of demolition of the existing concrete ditch and construction of the proposed concrete ditch, seeding, and all the necessary incidentals described and illustrated in the Contract Documents. B. The work shall be performed under contract and the supervision of the City or their assignee. The term "The City" throughout these Special Provisions shall be intended to include the City's assignee. C. The work shall be completed in all its parts and ready for use in the working days specified and in strict accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract Documents. Any deviation shall be subject to the approval of the City. D. The Contractor shall adhere to the terms of the various permits issued to this project. This shall include permits from the City of Poquoson and any other applicable permits. E. The Contractor shall assume all responsibility for the project and construction site until accepted by the City. F. The Contractor shall be prepared to execute a finished project without any extra charge, unless specifically provided for within the Contract. G. The Contractor must provide for the safe and contiguous maintenance of both vehicular and pedestrian traffic around the project site, including all affected residential lots, to minimize accidents and accident severity, while at the same time minimizing inconvenience to the traveling public. H. All work shall comply with the current Design Manual and other standards specified in the contract as applicable. In case of conflicts, the more stringent standard shall apply. In addition, all work in the Right-of Ways must comply with the most recent edition of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Road and Bridge Standards and the most recent edition of the VDOT Road and Bridge Specifications. The Oxford Mews Drainage Improvements site is located on City owned drainage and utility easements located along Oxford Mews. The site is accessed from Oxford Mews or Little Florida Road.
