Cont. #1 - BB - Roof Replacement at West End Hose Firehouse - Badger Roofing Co - $ 97,000.00 Cont. #1 - AA #1 - Provide & Install 90 mil EPDM Roofing System in lieu of specified 60 mil EPDM Roofing Material - Galia Construction, Inc - $ 4,000.00 Cont. #1 - UP #1A - Exterior Grade Wood Block Cont. #1 - UP #1B - Metal Deck Replacement The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the removal and replacement of approximately 3,700 sf of the existing roofing system at the upper and lower roof levels as well as the roof above the stair tower for a new EPDM roofing system. The scope of work also includes providing and installing new tapered insulation, cleaning out of the existing roof drains as well as providing and installing new metal coping caps and all associated items. If a bid exceeds Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000), the Bidder and its prime subcontractors must be prequalified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (NJDPMC), as required by law, and possess a valid and current Notice of Classification prior to the time and date that bids are received. Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000, payable unconditionally to Somerville Borough Treasurer, along with a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for full amount of bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and that said Surety will furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in amounts of 100% of successful bidder's contract. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of Somerville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the proposal received and to accept the bid in which in their judgment will best serve the interest of the Borough.
