Site work and paving for a civil project in Locust Grove, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Project consists of furnishing all labor and materials necessary for installing a new sanitary sewer, gravity sewer road crossing and all erosion and sedimentation control measures. The Gravity sewer will be 12-inches in diameter and estimated to be approximately 3,613 feet. The accompanied steel casing jack and bore is estimated to be 560 feet, with an additional 60 feet of open cut steel casing. The project will also include the installation of 16 manholes. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, prepared on the form of Bid Bond attached to the Contract Documents, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed as a certified company in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, in the amount of five percent of the Bid. The Owner will make payments, within 45 days, in response to the Contractor's monthly Applications for Payment, which are accompanied by the Engineer's Certificate for Payment, for work performed to date plus cost of stored materials, less retainage. Payments, Applications for Payment, Certificates for Payment, and retainage shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents.
