(a) The Contracting Officer may, at any time, by written order, make changes within the general scope of the contract in the services to be performed. If such changes cause an increase or decrease in the Contractor's cost of, or time required for, performance of any services under this contract, whether or not changed by any order, an equitable adjustment shall be made and the contract shall be modified in writing accordingly. Any claim of the Contractor for adjustment under this clause must be asserted in writing within 30 days from the date of receipt by the Contractor of the notification of change unless the Contracting Officer grants a further period of time before the date of final payment under the contract. (b) No services for which an additional cost or fee will be charged by the Contractor shall be furnished without the prior written authorization of the Contracting Officer. The scope of this (SOW) is to provide the requirements for completing epoxy injection repairs to designated cracked piers and abutments on the line sections specified in this SOW. Work to be completed includes: 1. Repair cracks in the north side of the Park Lane Station, Pier 3 Track 1 and Track 2, Line Section NC-3. 2. Repair cracks in the north side of the Park Lane Station, Pier 8 Track 2 and Pier 11 Track 2, Line Section NC-3. 3. Repair cracks in the north side of the Spring Valley overpass, Pier 4 Track 1 and the north side abutment, Track 2, Line Section NC-4. 4. Repair cracks in the south abutments at the Plano Parkway Track 1, Line Section NC-5.
