Site work and paving for a road / highway in West Union, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in bond form shall be issued by a surety company licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. Contractors and all sub-contractors must comply with the Ohio Prevailing Wage Laws, Chapter 4115 of the Ohio Revised Code. Contractors and sub-contractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code, Chapter 13, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972 and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Domestic Steel use requirements as specified Ohio Revised Code 153.011 apply to this project. Contractors and all sub-contractors that provide labor on the project must be enrolled in and remain in good standing in the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation (OBWC) Drug-Free Workplace Program (DFWP) or a comparable program approved by the OBWC. The right is reserved to waive irregularities and reject any and all bids by order of the Adams County Board of Commissioners. Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials and supervision to complete this project in accordance with the provided plans, specifications and requirements. The general work scope includes: ODOT 448 Type I asphalt surface Pavement milling at intersections Pavement milling for full depth repair of base failure ODOT 301 base asphalt full depth base repair Stone berm Centerline and edge line pavement marking Traffic control Locations Steam Furnace Road - Fawcett Road to St Rt 41 Portsmouth Road - St Rt 73 to St Rt 41
