Renovation of a multi-residential development in Lanett, Alabama. Working plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
As of 6/21/23 bids came in over budget awaiting owner to decide how to proceed. The Housing Authority of the City of Lanett, Alabama Will receive bids for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to construct: LANETT HOUSING AUTHORITY, IQC, TASK 4, LANETT, ALABAMA - 2246, consisting of various modifications at various developments. A certified check drawn on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, payable to the Housing Authority, or satisfactory bond executed by an acceptable surety on the Bid Bond form contained in the Specifications, or other form acceptable to HUD and the LHA, and in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond(s) in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Specifications must be paid on this Project. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Housing Authority.
