Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hempfield Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
2023 Road Project Paving and Widening T-331- Savitz Road Paving T-364 - Altemier Road Road Width Expansion project: Contractor to widen T-331 Savitz Road from SR 191 to Cemetery Road by 1ft on each side of roadway. Contractor to excavate 1 ft on each side of roadway to a depth of 6". The excavated area will be sealed with PG64s-22 prior to placement of base course. Contractor to place 6" of Superpave 25mm, PG64S-22, Base Course. The entire roadway will then be paved with a Superpave 19mm Wearing Course, PG64S-22 @240LBS/SY. Contractor will rebuild shoulders along the edges of all newly paved road and shall consist of an average compacted depth of 2.0" inches of PennDOT 2A Stone material. Shoulders will be sprayed with a prime coat at an application rate of 0.35 gallons per square
